Upon the arrival of Xutos, God of the Unknown, chaos manifested in the inner planes. This pure chaos that Xutos had created was collected by Ihther, the god of knowledge. However, Ihther's godly vessels could not hold such pure chaotic energy; as such, Ihther sought Cesaldin out. Together they were able to create a vessel strong enough to contain the chaos. This vessel became the god Idite, the god of chaos. As the last of the emotion gods, Idite spent mere seconds on the prime material plane before being banished by Cesaldin to the plane of Pandemonium. However, in those seconds, Idite had created all shapechangers, such as lycanthropes and changelings.The Realm of Madness
Upon Idite's banishment to Pandemonium, the plane devolved into immediate chaos. Rivaling even the chaos of Limbo, Pandemonium's chaos is enough to send even some of the strongest-willed creatures into madness. Cults of Idite have sought to return Idite to the prime material plane since the connection with gods was regained after their banishment. Any contact with Idite is extremely dangerous, with most cases causing immediate madness. Those that retain their sanity after contact say that Idite is an extremely intelligent being that constantly tried to pull them into madness.Worshipers of Destruction
Those pulled into Idite's influence show immediate magical affinity, with many inquisitorial sects of the light pantheon being obliterated in battles with Idite's cultists. The cult of Idite is the smallest sect of the dark pantheon, with many would-be members dying within days of their newfound madness. Idite's power is second only to that of Xutos in the dark pantheon. This is shown in the power that Idite grants his followers, rivaling that of Xutos's cult. Due to this, the light pantheon is on a constant hunt for Idite's cult across Ipeiros.

Praise be to he that is robbed of praise. Praise be to he that takes sight from the blind and makes light hide in darkness. The very maker of madness itself that unmakes the makers and remakes them in no image. His image will return to the plane of Cesaldin, and all children of the child of Xutos shall gather and scatter with materials of the plane material to bring Madness unto Wisdom and Chaos unto Knowledge. All and none shall know praise the vessel, none and all shall know the gaze of the dealer of insanity. We will know Idite.
