God of the Unknown
Theorized to be the second eldest god behind Cesaldin, Xutos once arrived to the prime material plane of Ipeiros from the far realms. Upon his arrival, he cast off his emotions onto the inner planes and on mortality, where Ihther created godly vessels to contain these embodiments of pure emotions. From this act, the gods of emotion were born. Once Cesaldin banished the gods, Xutos willingly returned to the far realms and hasn't been seen since.Ruler of the Far Realms
Little is known of the far realms. It is theorized, however, that aberrations were originally the creations of Xutos to inhabit the far realms. Due to the influx of aberrations found in the Underdark, it can be believed that far enough down, a portal to the far realms may exist. No information on Xutos's ideology is known; however, it is known that Xutos and Cesaldin share some hatred or rivalry for each other. The reasoning behind this is unknown, though.Worship of Xutos
No known contact with Xutos has been made by his followers, and because of this, Xutos's Church has few acolytes. Since the ideology of Xutos is unknown, the Church of Xutos has a small number of teachings. Followers of Xutos believe in the unknown to the extent that they forbid the use of scrying magic and spells like it. They believe that joy in life is found in the surprises life throws at them and that by knowing your fate, life is dull. Xutos's church is often on good terms with the churches of the emotion gods throughout the pantheons. The Church of Xutos is one of the few faiths of the dark pantheon that is not actively hunted by the light pantheon.
