Cesaldin - God of Nature and Seasons (cease-ALL-din)

First of the Gods

Cesaldin is the first of all the gods and is one the most powerful entities known, rivaled only by Xutos and Qhormis in divine power. Cesaldin was the god that shaped the lands of Ipeiros and the makeup of the inner planes. Cesaldin is the root of all magical power except for that of the psychic and necrotic elements. Cesaldin is responsible for the creation of all uncorrupted plant life and plantlike humanoids across the inner planes, as well as all elementals. Cesaldin has allegiance only to the fate of Ipeiros and will not act against or for any as long as the inner planes are not at risk of destruction. The only known enemy Cesaldin is that of Xutos, the god of the unknown. The reason for their hatred of each other is unknown.

Xutos and the Gods of Emotion

Once Cesaldin had created the first of the gods and mortality was in its infancy, Xutos arrived from the far realms to the outer edges of the inner planes. Upon Xutos's arrival, he cast off his emotions onto the inner planes and on mortality, where Ihther created godly vessels to contain the embodiments of Xutos's emotions. This created the gods of emotions. Once these emotions were given vessels, Cesaldin banished all gods on the inner planes to the outer planes, where they remain to this day. Ever since, Cesaldin has slept between the edges of the prime material plane and the Underdark, constantly focusing on his banishment of the other gods so that chaos does not, once again, overrun the inner planes.

The One Who Remains

Cesaldin is the only god, besides Qhormis, Myotl, and Anos, that remains in the inner planes, and they are the only god allowed on the prime material plane by their decree. Beings from across the planes have tried to find Cesaldin on the prime material plane; however, his exact location has not been found. Their presence is felt across the Ipeiros, and serves as the prime material plane's enate source of magic. All druidic circles acquire their magical power primarily through Cesaldin. Cesaldin is the prime ruler of the light pantheon and grants their true worshipers innate magical power while on the inner planes.
