Bydall - God of Air, Water, and Storms (buy-dull)
Creator of Elves
Upon his creation by Cesaldin, Bydall governed the connections to the elemental planes of water and air. Before his banishment to the plane Arborea, he created thirteen immortal elves to watch over the prime material plane. Upon his banishment, the god of the Underdark Mytol stole away four of the first elves out of envy for their beauty and strength. These four would go on to be the first of the drow. From then on, Bydall has had a fierce disdain for Mytol and his followers, cursing them to have eternal bad luck on the sea and in the air.
Watcher of the Air and Seas
Bydall's connection with the elemental planes of water and air allows him to watch over the prime material plane's skies and seas. It said that those who hold favor with Bydall are safe to travel the seas and skies despite the normal dangers that they hold. Should Bydall hold disdain for a traveler of his domain, it is rare that they don't undergo some difficulties in their travels.Rivalry with Mytol
With Mytol's creation of the drow and Bydall's disdain towards him, the church of the winds (Bydall's church) personally seek out to destroy any church of Mytol that makes its way to the surface. Bydall's own relationship with the drow is good, and the drow people commonly worship both Bydall and Mytol together, though the church of the winds tends to be on poor terms with the drow empire.
