Personal history
Born and raised within the large Dharal Clan within Kharahal, Ayred was exposed to the family's minimalist & loyal lifestyle from a very young age, despite her father's protests. This instilled within Ayred a sense of duty towards the town of Kharahal and its people, filling her with a desire to serve the people, though in what form that would take she did not know. Over the years, Ayred has served in the Sootguard, both as an officer and as a Guardman, played for the Kharahal Kerrarak's against other town's Tufinuph teams and wandered the frontier as a traveling merchant, though none could be as important as her current position as Custodian of Kharahal.
It is well known that, while the Dharal's are not a ruling dynasty nor is the towns government positions hereditary, the Dharal's will more often than not reach positions of power and influence within the town due to their near obsessive need to be civil-servants. When Ayred was voted as the next Custodian by the Quorum, it was more of a shock to her than anyone else, a Ayred was not specifically moving for such a position. Despite some initial hesitation, Ayred has proven time and time again over her successive four terms as Custodian that the Quorum made the right choice, as Ayred has led Kharahal through some difficult times.

Education
Like all of the Dharal children, Ayred was trained within the household by older siblings/cousins and even retired elders, for the tasks she would most likely work. During her young adult years Ayred was trained by the Sootguard and the Tufinuph team for her respective roles in each, though when she became a merchant Ayred utilized the knowledge passed down to her from her elders to succeed.
