Vested Council of Feast
The predecessor to the Faminites way of governing.
Structure
The council was made up of those in the city that had proven themselves to be trustworthy and capable.
History
When the council was formed it was decided to begin keeping historical records, thus a new time system was created around the regular rumbles that would occur every 30 hours. The timekeeping began with Year 0 for simplicities sake, making that the councils official founding date.
The council was generally a slow way to make choices, and would often take so long that the matter had already resolved itself by the time they came to a clear decision. This was most evident during the first Culling, when the council could not decide on a course of action as the city was being torn apart. This would lead to Tihana Daylight taking matters into her own hands top protect the city, creating the Great Barrier, and incidentally creating the city of Famine.
