The Tranquil Grove
Pinterest Gallery
The prime druidic circle that oversees Taesi Kaalsari and the Great Greenwood. This druidic circle also oversees all of the individual druidic circles around the world, but this is primarily for connecting to nature not a Vassal-Lord relationship. Taesi Kaalsari being a druidocracy makes it easy for the tranquil grove to lend aid to the other druid groves more easily, which has led to the other circles directly looking to the grove in their times of need. This has been lessened slightly due to the tentions between the Vulanti Empire and the Taesi Kaalsari.
The archdruid does need to travel to all the other circles as part of their training, but otherwise all other connections between the circles are purely ceremonial. Guybon Grene is the current Archdruid of the Kaalsari and leader of the The Tranquil Grove.
The Other Druid Groves that follow the groves teaching are as follows:
Druidic Circle of the Tempest
- This circle resides in the Stormshield Summits near the Ancestral Heights
- This circle travels the world in small groups, spending time in the land they feel closest to, but they do have a small hamlet that many call a permanent home in the Watchmans' Wood near Rangers Rock. When an archdruid in training spends time with the cirlcle of the land it is usually spent teaching in the hamlet, but the archdruid in training is free to go with a smaller group from the circle and spend time deeper in nature.
- This druidic circle maintains its relationship with The Tranquil Grove, but are easily the most self sustaining of those under it. Guybon Grene worked tirelessly not to lose the connection with the moon druids, but the recent turmoil between the gods has thrown into question where the moon druids loyalties actually lay.
- This circle resisdes in the Fungal Wilds, in the depths below. They tend to travel the wilds, but they can occasionally be found in Vaahd Knulheim or Quallsitte.
- These druids are most closely tied to their homeland and rarely leave the Mouth of the River to visit other circles or the Great Greenwood. They are still very close with The Tranquil Grove, but they are just more comfortable in their native land.
- This druidic circle actually stems from an old dwarvish tradition of stargazing from mountaintops and is still practiced by some in Khon Derbolder. Dwarves that still follow this ancient tradition spend a lot of time travelling the outside of the mountains across The Jagged Peaks. The circle of the stars used to be closely tied to those that worshipped the moutain god, Kor, Master of Stone, but that connection has mostly been lost after Kor disappeared.
