Britannia

The name refers to the ancient island of Britain but it used to refer to just the Kingdom of England. Since the end of The Anarchy and the Reunification, it refers to the Greater Kingdom of Britannia, including the realms of England, Scotland, and Wales.
Its ruler Isabella II has recently been restored to her throne after the defeat of the Golden Empire.

Britannia, though recently subjugated by the Golden Empire, maintained a military government in exile that was in direct conflict with the Phoenix Order and its thralls and allies.

History

Known as the "Font of Heroes" Britannia gave rise to the popular movement to overthrow the Princes. In spite of the success of the Four Heroes' campaign, Britannia itself has struggled with internal division and military conflict in the decades following their victory at the Battle of New York.
Britannia was conquered by the Golden Empire during the Phoenix Imperium but has recently regained its independence.

Demography and Population

The Britannian crown exerts hegemonic dominion over all the lands of ancient Britain. The Britannian Queen is overlord of the Scottish and Welsh princes.
