Choiric

Choiric Demons are the second most plentiful species of demon, appearing close to what Humanity considers "Angels". They now often refer to themselves as such, and demons often have to clarify that "Angels" that humans will witness or encounter are just a species of demon.

Basic Information

Anatomy

'Angelic' in appearance, often has feather-adorned limbs and "holy" imagery in their general aura. White and golden colouring is very common among Choric strains, as many different types of facial and bodily structure occur.
The human classification of angels is almost accurate for genetic anatomical strains, although Choirics don't quite organise themselves in the same degree due to demonic bodily morphing.

Genetics and Reproduction

Choirics have the same reproductive ways as other demons, apart from being unable to reproduce with Morbidity.

Ecology and Habitats

Generally does not exist on the material plane, and does not tend to stray far from their ethereal environment. Many flocks of Choirics reside in their ancestral evolutionary area of Loehs.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Choirics don't require to ingest anything for life, but higher tiers tend to consume souls as a delicacy.

Sanseol is the Lingua Franca between Choiric flocks, although the language is not regarded as such for Demons as a whole.

Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals

Traditional Choiric flocks often revere Gods, and view attaining the status of Ascended Gods as a "final evolutionary stage" for Choiric demons specifically.
