Sanseol

One of many types of language native to Choiric demons. It is regarded as one of the more common ones amongst flocks, with some parts of the language functionally similar to Hebrew. It is theorised that a Deity, or a particularly friendly choiric shared parts of their language with speakers of Canaanite languages, and each language evolved on from there.   Most common choiric languages are thought to have descended from Sanseol.   Sanseol has a written script, and it is considered the universal "angelic" script. Most other languages use the alphabet and writing style adjusted to their own language. The script itself is made up of a mixture of flowing and angular lines, which correspond with a certain phonetic sound. These interlink to create large symbols which are representative of words.   Sanseol is not typically spoken outside of flocks, and some flocks will not even speak it to other choirics. Very few choirics will ever speak it to a hellionic or an other "lesser" type of demon.

Writing System

The Sanseol alphabet is based upon assigning symbols to phonetics, akin to Japanese hirigana and katakana.   These symbols interconnect to form words and sentences, creating what looks like a large and singular symbol as one section of speech. The written language is left to right, made up of these individual "blocks" of symbols.
