Elvish Woods

History

At the very beginning of the First Era, a portal opened in these woods. A group of Eladrin stepped through, becoming the Wood Elves and High Elves. Since then, the elves have been very hostile, insisting that outsiders stay out. Anybody who goes into the Elvish Woods uninvited does not come out. During the Second Era, the elves were very resistant to the Evil Overlord's rule. They attacked his soldiers and defended their forest furiously. In fact, the capital of the Elvish Woods is one of the few places in Eagremond that the Evil Overlord did not conquer. In recent years, an elvish ambassador named Sharon married King Leofric, finally beginning peaceful relations between the elves and humans.
