The Sanderstone Speach
Purpose
The Sanderstone Speech was given Sanderstone Mountains retreat of Holli by a group of billionaire businessmen who founded the BFA for that purpose of ending the war and uniting the continent under their control. The purpose of which ended The Third World War after a decade of stalemate military conflict, it effectively eliminated the two countries of Poe, the Siala Islands and Anderstern, and incorporated them into one business conglomerate state. It also set up the organization HIPA - Homeland Inclusive People Authority and set that organization on it's path of controlling the continent for the next two and a half decades.
Historical Details
Public Reaction
At the time, the public could not have been happier to get this document ending the war. This would usher in an era of unprecedented peace and eventually the continent would become prosperous again after the mind-blowingly extensive devastation of the war. It wasn't until a generation later that people would fully understand how much they as a people gave away to The BFA - Business First Authority and HIPA - Homeland Inclusive People Authority in order to achieve peace and so much of the culture of the various groups on the continent was lost in the meantime, all things that they would never be able to get back.
Legacy
While the The Sanderstone Speach ended the war, it did it by uniting what was left of the people on the continent. It sought to outlaw anything that could be seen as a difference, anything that could be seen as causing conflict within the people. The legacy of this assimilation was how much culture was lost - art, music, fashion, literature, traditional foods were only some of the items that were practically striped from the people in order to achieve the sameness that the The BFA - Business First Authority decided would be required for peace.
