Could you live someone else's life? 

A lifter book allows one to experience, first-hand, the critical moments of a person's life whose memories have been essence-fused to the stone tablets that comprise the book.
Drikinus must enter the lifter to experience the lives of those who wore the Bladestar mask and learn more about his origins.
His Earth handlers have a different aim of what they want the magical book to show him (cue sinister music), but that is a mystery for another day.

How to use:

Open it and place your hand on a stone tablet to experience the contained memories. But be careful; without a puller to guide your mind out of the experience, you'll become lost forever.
Reading a lifter without the proper precautions could shatter your mind.
