Citystate Citadel

The Citystate citadel is the main base of operations for the Eidolon Administration as well as the home to Eidolon. It is the largest building complex in the Citystate.

Architecture

The citadel is mainly made out of pale smooth stone, gold and other precious metals. It was constructed to be very tall, towering over the rest of the Citystate in comparison.
The interior of the citadel is decorated lavishly, with large tapestries and paintings adorning the walls (mostly relating to Eidolon or The Songs of the Stars, as well as many intricate statues and other expensive items.

Areas

The citadel is broken up into 3 levels of accessibility.

Outer area

The outer area is accessible for any members of the public to visit. A number of locations include:

• The Citystate Observatory: The official Observatory of the Citystate, where the Oracle gives out the official readings for the day as well as the location for other ceremonies.
• Citystate Libraries:There are many libraries that visitors are welcome to stay and read in, however the books are not for loaning to the public.

Middle area

The Middle area is only accessible to the Eidolon Administration and its staff. A number of locations include:

• Eidolon’s Throne Room: Important broadcasts and introductions are made here by Eidolon, however, it is generally open to visits from the public when not in use.
• Obril’s Bedchamber: Obril spends little time there besides sleep since they are usually very busy; however they do occasionally read books there in their spare time.

Inner Area

The Inner Area is only permitted to Eidolon and a select few that they personally allow in. A number of locations include:

• Eidolon’s Living Quarters: Where Eidolon rests after a long day.
• Vex's Living Quarters: After Eidolon faked Vex’s unpersoning for their protection, the former Oracle now resides near the centre of the Citadel. It consists of a bedroom, living room, dining room, bathroom and an indoor garden.
• Ain's Living Quarters: As Eidolon decided to keep the existence of their heir a secret, Ain resides here. It has a similar setup to Vex’s Living Quarters. Due to Ain’s Albinism, the light is specifically regulated.
