CityState Libraries

The CityState libraries are a series of libraries that have been built and sanctioned by the Eidolon Administration. The libraries are used mostly as places of study and relaxation and they are a very popular place for Homeworld Hoomans to go to.

Layout

CityState libraries are generally all set up the same way, though the specific book categories may be different depending on the location. There are multiple desks and seating areas for hoomans to study or just read for leisure if they wish.
There is also a basement, where the librarians keep extra copies of books, as well as books that just don't fit on the shelves.
Like all public areas in the CityState, the libraries are heavily surveillanced to make sure that the citizens are safe and orderly.

Banned Books

Since most of the libraries were built or converted during Eidolon's time in leadership, all books that are deemed inappropriate by the administration have been banned and unable to be searched for. Anyone who requests banned books from the librarians are reported to the CityState police and placed on a list.
Most banned books were published before 50 BC, though there are a few more recent books that have been banned as they are not up to Eidolon's standards.
