Nizar the Turnclaw is a Mashiqi male green dragonborn veteran and the Captain of the Ashkelonian Guard in the Holy City of Jeharoa.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Nizar is a tall, middle-aged dragonborn with smooth evergreen scales and dark gold eyes. He appears stern and almost tired.

Personal history
Nizar was born just before the First Pilgrim War broke out in the Mashiq. He remembers the heroism of the Ashkelonian Guard rescuing him and his mother from falling rubble caused by Pilgrim siege engines. He also remembers how his mother seemed to forget the heroism of the Ashen when they surrendered to the Pilgrims and vowed to join them in protecting the city. Nizar decided to join the Ashen Guard and in doing so became not only hated by the already bigoted Pilgrims of Jeharoa but also by those in his own community, who call him Turnclaw. Nizar has a monk-like attitude, deeply devoted to the ideals of heroism and chivalry and the protection of the innocent over the protection to a larger cause such as a nation or an organization. This has not won him many allies but all have a grudging respect for his principles.
