    The Empty Lot Incident

    Tojo clan and Tachibana real estate fight over control of the 'Empty Lot', located in the middle of what is now known as the 'Millennium Tower', leading to the rise of 'Kazuma Kiryu' and 'Majima Goro'.
    Due to this fighting and conflict, major Dojima lieutenants are arrested and one is killed outright. Masrau Sera ends up acquiring this lot of land despite Sohei Dojimas best efforts. As such, Dojima is replaced as Tojo clan chairman by Masrau Sera. This event would allow for the construction of the Millennium Tower to begin.

    Takashi Nihara steps down as the Chariman of the Tojo clan. In his place, Tojo clan captain Maseru Sera is made Chairman of the Tojo clan, acting as its official leader for the next decade and into the millennium.

    Death of Dojima

    Sohei Dojima is shot during the late hours of the day. Kazuma Kiryu is arrested for the killing and sentenced to fifteen years in prison. However, ten years after the incident, it is revealed that Akira Nishikiyama was the true killer in an attempt to defend Yumi Sawamura from assault. Shintaro Kazama takes his place as Patriarch of the Dojima family.

    The 10 billion Zeni Plot

    Following Kiryu Kazuma's release from prison, the Tojo Clan begins a high-stakes hunt for ten billion zeni stolen from the Tojo Clan's private bank. This heist triggers a violent power struggle within the Clan and overarching underworld, with Kiryu Kazuma finding himself at the center of the chaos. Until it was revealed that it was a daring plan to prevent corrupt individuals within the Japanese Government and Tojo Clan from getting their hands on the stolen fortune. Amidst confrontations and sacrifices, Kiryu Kazmua becomes the Tojo Clans 5th Chairman and subsequently leaves the position within a week.
