Always hiding in the darkness of Theorston Thicket, Shogird Sehrgar is one of Archmage Anvar's most loyal disciples. He stepped up after his father passed away, taking up the legacy that he left behind and determined to bring it to fruition. Ever since, Shogird has been working relentlessly to find a way to bring his master back to life. With nothing but the notes and books his father left him and the Tower of Anvar at his disposal, it will be a challenge to fulfill his goal.

Loyalty

Shogird was born into a family already loyal to the archmage. After his birth, his mother vanished and his father raised him to be the perfect son. In his early years, he studied dilligently at school where all the other kids went. He was clearly the odd one out being the only one without a mother and his dad never came to pick him up either. It is from this young age that he learned to fend for himself.
As he grew older, his dad took him to the Tower of Anvar to teach him about the great archmage that lived centuries before him. Shogird learned about Anva'nuuti, their experiments, but also about the great masters demise. Inspired, he wanted to join the disciples immediately to help his father.
However, before he was allowed to join, his father told him about the olden tradition to ensure the family line continues. He was to find a mate who was willing to bear his child. Shogird, a handsome guy at that point in time and not looking at all like he looks now, had a hard time understanding why he had to go out at that moment, but there was no use in arguing against his father. He set out into the world trying to find love.
It was unexpectedly hard for him as he was used to things going his way easily. Most girls were definitely into his looks, but as soon as they started talking about their interests the conversation fell on silent ears. Shogird looked for over a year until he finally found his mate living in Havalla. His father was estatic at hearing the news. However, what happened after is something that Shogird will try to forget every minute of the day...

Advancements

In order to take the heat of Anva'nuuti in the eyes of Havalla, Shogird decided to hire a group of thieves to bring him the items and people he needed to continue his quest to revive his master. He hired the Silver Whisperer and their gang of misfits branded under the name Bosqinchi. Shogird had, and still has, the upper hand in any negotiations with the Silver Whisperer since he can take away the ability that the Whisperer is known for most.
So far, a steady stream of individuals have been lead through Theorston Thicket to the Tower of Anvar where he performs many experiments and rituals. The notes of his father and forefathers have been a great help, but Shogird isn't there just yet. Many days, he spends studying in the tower, working his way through books, graphs, and drawings. Progress is slow, but it is there.
Other disciples have been questioning his leadership. But with no one else hearing the voice of Archmage Anvar, they have little to go on and Shogird always makes sure to let them know he is the current leader.
