A 27-year-old trans woman who is secretly the superhero known as Ace of Hearts.
She owns a café called the Café Celeste which she runs full-time with her best friend Cynthia Becker while doing her solo superhero work on the side.
She's also secretly the daughter of the famous superhero duo Sunstream and Moonlight Maiden, both of whom died during the Vanishing.
When the Reawakening happened, she became a metahuman and got the ability to bend light and the ability to manipulate paper and anything containing pulp at a certain level of processing. This includes being able sense when there's paper material around her and being able to alter its properties. Her light abilities let her alter the perceived appearance of anything around her.
Even before that, she was born with an inherited subability which made her able to see through unnatural light distortions and mirages.

Personal history

She was born in secret in a small town in Ireland and spent two years there and two years in Japan being raised by her parents. They went on a hiatus for her first four years to focus on her before moving back to Canada and resuming their superhero work. From then on, she spent a lot of time with Agency nannies who work specifically with the children of superheroes.
Her parents told her about their real job when she was seven and trusted her to keep the secret. Then less than three years later, a few days after her 10th birthday, the Wiltingwell Incident happened. She watched her parents disintegrate on live television along with her nanny who was watching her at the time. Like a lot of people, Wiltingwell would become the most life-changing moment of her life.
