Power Classification System

Icarus uses a classification system to quantify and categorize the special abilities of all metahumans on Earth and on Luna.

There are many broad categories that powers can get sorted into and three subspecifications they can each have. Since most metahumans have more than one "power set", someone's abilities are placed in more than one category.

When it comes to the degree of superpowers, each broad "power set" is given a number between 1-9 as their power level with 10 being a theoretical that has never needed to be assigned.

Categories and power levels of registered superheroes are always available to the public for transparency reasons, though secret identities are not. When it comes to civilian metahumans, this information remains confidencial.

• Kinesis
• Creation
• Physical Enhancement
• Mental Enhancement
• Form-changing
• Psychic
• Magical
• ESP
• Temporospacial
• Reality-Altering
• Metaphysical
• Other (Specify)

The three subspecifications are Internal, External, or Absolute, which just mean wether the "power set" exclusively affects the user, exclusively affects everything but the user, or both.

A metahuman's unique phenotypical traits are also listed along with their powers for identification reasons.
