When The Gold administration launched a surprise assault on the Court's holdings during the night of broken gems, Bialear's faction of sun-priests was strangely untouched. In the chaos, several key elven matriarchs, arcane mentors, and dissenting voices perished under mysterious circumstances. Some whisper that Bialear withdrew protection, ensuring the old guard would fall.
He presented the Cult of [Lathander ](person:19aade42-ed43-46ad-a754-451f43692479 not as a replacement, but as a necessary discipline to "cleanse the disorder" that had crept into elven tradition. Many naive or traumatized court members embraced this “clarifying” faith. It emphasized order, hierarchy, and discipline — ideals that Bialear subtly twisted to suit his ambitions. Over time, more elven rituals were rewritten, symbols of the moon and star replaced with sunburst and flame.
