Spellblade Academy
Though an ancient institute the Academy was founded by, Temple of the Red Goddess in the times of the king masaf, as a way for the lower classes to prove themselves.
The institute does not allow for the great houses to join, for they already have all the means in the world ot prove themselves and therefor need no help in their education. Instead they seek out promising inviduals in the kingdom and offer them a chance to prove themselves, those who fail are handed over to any house in need of soldiery and if not to the fleshcrafters.
Here they are trained as soldiers and scholars as they are judged fitting. And then offered a chance to join one of the great houses.
All deserve a chance to prove themselves
