Dancers

The Dancers are a group of skilled assassins based in Teros. They are led by Lyria Monshan.

The organisation has been in existence for hundreds of years, and for most of that time the group was based in Amur Lefra. Following the fall of the city at the end of the War of Salvation, the group moved its headquarters to Olnath on the shores of Leviathan Bay.  
Historically, the organisation was prominent in public life in Amur Lefra, with its members serving as functionaries and companions at ceremonial and civic occasions. Since the war, the Dancers have operated in semi-secrecy. The Peacekeepers remain officially "unaware" of their presence, and as such are not forced to confront them (indeed, the Dancers have been engaged in several operations).
While not strictly a religious order, the group pay homage to Jarkash, and each killing is in theory a sacrifice to the goddess. The Dancers are not political, and their strict code of conduct ensures they remain impartial to the interests of potential clients.
