Asandrin III
Asandrin III of House Petarrin was the seventeenth monarch of Forbin and the last of his house. He succeeded to the throne on the death of his father Asandrin II in 939 and reigned for 46 years.
Asandrin III died in 985 and was buried in the crypts of the Palace of the Golden King in Holdras.
Asandrin III named no heir, and on his death the nation was plunged into a bitter succession crisis. While all-out civil war was avoided, no successor was agreed. The Lords Guardian maintained rule over their respective regions. Forbin would have no monarch until the eventual crowning of Trybon Fane as the new Golden King in 2264.
