Mohm
the Reaper
Mohm is one of the two aiding deities to Younin in harvesting and transferring the spirits of the dead to the afterlife. While Yeong collects the spirit and guides it towards the bridge beween the living and the dead world, Mohm is responsible to seperate the spirit from the body.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Both, Yeong and Mohm, are mostly depicted as cats or hooded figures with the stylised silhouette of a cat. Mohm is typically portrayed as a black cat with a white face or white markings in the face. If a figure, they typically don a red hooded cloak with a whited-out, invisible, face and black robes underneath, and knife or dagger to seperate the spirit from the body. As cat, it is not uncommon for them to either also don a red hood or a red collar that holds one or several bells.
Holidays
Like the other deities surrounging death, Mohm receives offerings on the 10th Chosaengdal, which is the Day of the Dead.
