Khehan Empire organisation
The Khehan Empire is located in the west of the Danghan Mountains with large parts of the North and West spreading to the coast. The Northeast is bordered primarily by the Samag Desert.
Khehan is the largest nation on Ganaesa and consists of the Nine Kingdoms, which take turns providing a new Emperor for a term of ten years. The capital of the nation thus also changes with each term. The new Khehan Emperor is typically the current King Regent or the Crown Prince, although the nine regents still have to elect the new emperor in a mostly performative election.
The Nine Kingdoms consist of Yeshtar, Erimer, Lebrye, Silayar, Isuan, Vedis, Kassha, Dir, and Hediya.
Religion
In the Khehan Empire, Nehinism is probably the most widely spread religion and philosophy, although many more shamanist religions are additionally practiced to this day, especially in the more rural areas. Since many practice both, the more traditional rituals and following the Prophet Nehin's teachings, it is hard to give a definitive answer to how many of the population follow one or another belief, especially as the shamanist cults have a lot of regional variations.
