Kingdom of Gallandria
The Great Kingdom of Gallandria was the greatest and wealthiest Kingdom in the Southern Bright Lands, and second only to Tildarra in the entire Realm.
Structure
The people of Gallandria are divided in a very strict class system, where the King Rules with absolute authority. It is believed that his bloodline was blessed with a bright and powerful soul by the Bright Lady at the moment of Manowald's coronation, and that only the blood of his main line of descendants is able to sustain such divine power.
Beneath the King, lies a complex hierarchical system, in which anyone from the secondary lines is assigned an increasingly less prestigious position in court, that decreases in value with each subsequent generation, unless the parents were married to a younger child, more recently generated by the main line.
This led to two main, but equally troublesome problems.
The first: Inbreeding is rampant, and while marriage up to a close cousin is strongly prohibited, almost every single noble in court has had at least a couple of married cousins as ancestors.
The second: After every Royal marriage there is an intense and cunning race between local and Foreign nobles to secure a marriage to the eldest sons born of the queen. This is the source of much of the local intrigue, and the Kings of Gallandria have resorted to the fathering of many children in order to appease local disputes.
Finally, at the bottom of the line of hierarchy lie the peasants of Gallandria, despite having been being blessed with souls by the same divine figure, they are considered of a lesser degree of "brightness", and thus are confined to servile positions. Despite this, even the poorest and deprived children of Gallandria could one day, through virtue and noble acts, be rewarded by their faith with a brighter soul and a more prestigious position in society. This is usually achieved by service in the army or particularly heroic acts that favour the crown, but such an ocasion usually happens no more than twice in a lifetime.
Culture
In Gallandria, the virtues of loyalty, kindness, heroism and self-sacrifice were considered sacred, and its knights were expected to adhere vehemently to the teachings, both in service to the crown, and in daily life.
The greatest of these knights, the Order of the Blazing Sun, were sanctified as holy embodiments of the light of the lady, and were therefore treated as their own holy social caste. Their prestige was such, that even their horses were treated as divine beigns, and so enjoyed greater luxuries than most peasants.
History
The Crown of Gallandria was bestowed to Sir Manowald the Brave, eldest of the seven princes who would become kings, and second to bow to the lady before the Council of Wise Elders.
Two years after his coronation, King Manowald and his followers migrated down to the Flatlands overlooking the base of Mount Bright and the western mountains. There they found a lonely hill facing the mountains where the Bright Lady first emerged, and Manowald decided that there they would found the greatest city of the realm, where all the peoples would come to see the greatness of the lady's light, and gaze upon the mountains from his gilded city.

There have been many diplomatic incidents between noble houses in Tildarra and Gallandria, often times these are caused when a Bethrothal is broken by the nobles of Gallandria in order to secure a better deal with a different family.
There have been, however, disputes and skirmishes over other matters, such as trade deals and the scale of Tildarran yearly provisions.
