Kaja Elezi

Kaja Elezi is the First Office aboard Fatan. The crew was named The Lost when they didn't return to Dethion. Kaja was part of the mission that crossed The Anomaly for the first time, along with captain Kommen Vissor and the pilot Kudret Aydin. After that success, Fatan's mission was authorized.

Kaja was born in the capital of Asnar and has an older brother and a younger sister. She had a comfortable childhood in the capital city. Kaja was always the smartest of her family, top of her class.

Growing up, her father was convinced her future was to be a public servant for her country, but Kaja surprised them with her wish to explore space and beyond.

Her friend and family described her as kind and brave, always concerned for the welfare of her people and loyal to her country.

When the war against Pogron over the nuate broke out, Kaja was a teenager, she wondered what would be the fate of those who were sent to fight and if she would have to go. Kaja despised violence for the sake of it, like most asnarians. She only accepted if it was the only option to defend what was theirs.

When it was her turn to join the army a few years later, she immediately showed aptitude as a pilot. At the end of the mandatory military service, she decided to stay in the army, pursue a military career and further his dream of space exploration.

History in the making

-Kaja, how are you so calm?

-I studied this scenario. I know what I need to do.

-We are going to battle!

-And you need to meditate more.

Although the horrors of war had affected her, she felt it was the most logical decision to contribute to her nation's victory and protect her people. She specialized as an experimental aircraft pilot and participated in many missions.

Kaja was glad when her country negotiated a truce with Pogron to investigate The Anomaly along with Edrea. She had hoped a more peaceful era would begin in Dethion. Kaja was called to be part of the peace effort. She showed great skills to deal with people logically but also kindly.

Some years later, she became involved with the space program and was chosen to be part of the first ship sent to cross The Anomaly. Kaja hesitated to accept the mission because she was afraid of leaving behind her wife, whom she married 12 years ago. Her wife encouraged her to follow her dream of exploring space.

The ship and the crew of three people, crossed and came back unharmed in the expected time. After this success, the Kaja became Fatan's First Officer.

There is silence, blinding light, also darkness. A force is crushing her body. Kaja looks at her companions, but their faces are distorted and distant. She is sure all of them are going to die. Her last thought is for her beloved wife. Suddenly, is over. They made it to the other side. There is a planet no one has seen before. Hope blossoms in Kaja's chest.
