The Silent
is a group of Necromancers established under House Kamose when the deity Alphleatay was an Archon. Aptly named for the vow of silence that they swear. Extreme members end up sowing their mouths shut to prevent unintentional speech.
The silent act as undertakers and guardians of the dead and undead both within Kamose lands and (since the unification of Halruaal) of the various countries. As such, the Silent are a weird combination of a political and apolitical body. House Kamose has been a neutral party in the internal struggle between the Houses. As such, most of the Silent are welcome in most lands.
Structure
the Silent usually work in pods of three. Yet as a whole, no one is entirely certain how many exist within the crypts of the Necropolis.

Care for the dead with burial rites and protect the undead within the Necropolis.

Divine Origins
Hailing from when House Kamose first land in the Sekhemti, The Silent have always been active within the Archon's land. Rumors have it that the original members of the Silent might exist even now within the order (but others dismiss this as an impossibility).
Priesthood
The Silent exist separated from the Church of the Seven but all of the members are adherents to the tenets of Alphleatay.
