house Medrinov
The tale of house Medrinov is almost eerily similar to house Bregov. Once closely tied with House Valchev, house Medrinov split due to a feud with the Nauts and (a severe) misunderstanding with House Valchev on sea commerce. Like house Bregov, house Medrinov attempted to take key practices from the Nauts and make them their own - albeit, staying true to the Magisterium's arcane roots. They are now seen as Marinovica’s weather mages: subtly nudging the winds and seas for naval expeditions. While not as effective as the Nauts, they have created a foothold in the sea trade, though in doing so they've become a target for the recent pirate activity.
