Bidadari Potion of Draconic Rebirth

History

Bidadari Potion of Draconic Rebirth was discovered in 101,788 after the Ambrosis sisters lost their precious younger brother to Draconic Molten Skin.   The Ambrosis siblings were all Dryads, and unknown to most, Dryads aren't all women. While rare, Dryads do have male children, making them very precious, and usually very spoiled. The Ambrosis family spoiled Oake by indulging his love of learning to the exclusion of all else. This led Oake to explore Draconic magic, but not take the precautions needed against Draconic Molten Skin.   After years of begging their parents to get Oake help, Serissa, the eldest of his three sisters, killed Oake before he could explode. Her sister, Gallia and Deodara, stood by her side when their parents banished them from the family, saying that Oake was fine and nothing would have happened. The Dryad Elders agreed the Serissa and her sisters had saved not only their families' lives, but also many of the Trees and Dryad around them.   Serissa, Gallia, and Deodara dedicated their lives to finding a cure. They petitioned Terea, God of the Bidadari, to grant them inclusion into the Abalindi Beholo so that they could study and learn from the best, and to grant them a way to travel with their trees or away from their trees without suffering. Terea spoke with his parents, Cyrus and Urth. Cyrus and Urth came up with a way from the sisters to merge with their trees so that as long as they sustained their own health, their trees health would be sustained as well. The only downside was they needed to plant themselves for one quarter of each year into the earth of their home planet, Mytilias.   The Ambrosis sisters would go back to their homeland, the Kingdom of Antea to plant their trees. Then in the other months, they would go back to Ustehall and spend their free time researching Draconic Molten Skin and its cure.   Finally, in the Spring of 101,788, Gallia found the last ingredient needed and they tested their first batch on a women in Stage Four Molten Skin. She survived, but lost all access to magic, making her a Magical Null.

Manufacturing

This potion must be made by a Potion Master. The Potion Master will need to be pledged to a Deity to make this potion. The Deity will need to be willing to lend some of their strength to the ingredients to make this work. It can be made in batches, but it only has a shelf life of 30 days.

Inventor(s)
This potion was invented by a trio of Dryads  sisters when they lost their brother to the Draconic Molten Skin. It took them 8 decades and almost the lives of their trees, but they were able to create a potion that would save someone with Stage Four Draconic Molten Skin.

Potion Recipe

Note: This potion must be done at night, outside in the moonlight, at any stage of the moon.
Ingredients
  • 15 Petals of Hanas Blood Rose
  • 3 oz Freely Given Dragon Blood
  • 8 Freely Given Dragon Scales
  • 2 cups Blessed Moon Water
  • .5 cups of Red Clover Flowers, crushed
  • 6 oz Evening Primrose Oil
  • 21 strands of Freely Given Unicorn Hair

Preparations
  • In a mortar and pestle, finely crush the Hanas Blood Rose petals, Red Clover Flowers, Unicorn Hair. Once crushed into a fine powder, mix in the Evening Primrose Oil until it makes a paste.
  • In a magically reinforced mortar and pestle, coarsely grind the dragon scales. These should feel like grit between your fingers.
  • The Blessed Moon Water should be made under the Full Moon of either the longest or shortest day of the year. It needs to be at either the at the highest or lowest lunar power. If at the highest lunar power, use only half the water. If at the lowest lunar power, use all the water.
  • For the Dragon blood and scales, full blooded Dragons works best. If a full dragon is not available, Dragonkin will work but more blood and scales will be needed. This means that more than one Dragonkin will be need for the potion since most dragonkin only have scales in spots on their body, and they are much thinner and weaker than full Dragon scales.

Directions
  1. On high heat, bring the 1/2 of the Blessed Moon Water to a boil.
  2. Turn down the heat to medium and slowly add the freely given Dragon blood while stirring clockwise and chanting a prayer to the pledged Deity.
  3. Once the Moon Water and Dragon Blood are completely mixed, add the Blood Rose/Red Clover/Unicorn Hair/Primrose Oil paste to the liquid while continuing to chant the prayer while stirring in a counter clockwise direction.  The blood and water mixture will slowly breakdown and dissolve the paste.  This will cause the potion to thicken.
  4. Once the potion has thicken, take it off the heat and add the rest of the Blessed Moon Water.  This will thin the potion out again to a drinkable status.
  5. Add the freely given Dragon Scales and mix in a clockwise pattern until they look like stars in the potion.  The potion should be bright red with the dragon scale dust visually seen.
  6. Pour out five doses of the potion and stopper them.  Hold each dose up to the moon and chant a prayer of power to the Deity of choice.  If the potion is correctly powered, the sparkles will flash.  Once the potion is no longer any good, the sparkle of the dragon scales will no longer flash.
