Ukaram

Ukaram is a tropical equatorial continent. In many ways, it is a whole collection of different isolated worlds, as the jungle and mountains make land travel slow and difficult and has cut the subregions of Ukaram off from one another. Agriculture, metallurgy, and mathematics have all been discovered multiple times in Ukaram by isolated groups, much to the surprise of foreign merchants and explorers.    After the late 1700s ME, Ukaram has been a crossroads of religion and culture: Ishkibism has come from the West, the Suneka has arrived from the East, and Keveket has arrived from the South. These evangelists and colonists have broken down the walls between worlds and introduced their own wars and conflicts to those they encounter.

Geography

Ukaram is 2610 miles by 1600 miles across. The continent of Suneka lies 200 miles to the East. The continent of Izekra is 200 miles to the West. The imposing mountains in the North-center rise over 10,000 feet above sea level, and are famous for their abundant gemstones.    The island of Irakelev to the West is 712 by 162 miles across.

Fauna & Flora

Ukaram has immense biodiversity. From capybaras to monkeys to anteaters to armadillos, a great number of tropical mammals can be found here. Also expect tapirs, maned wolves, panthers, sloths, vampire bats, peccaries, marsh deer, nutria (large rodents) on any journey through here. Not to mention giant snakes, flightless rhea birds, and poison dart frogs.
