Cat

In the days before the Gods, cats were simple felines undergoing domestication by the native human hunter-gatherer population. But in the earliest days of the Divine Era, the The Hidden One quietly reached down and gave every domestic or feral cat the spark of sentience and long life. With that sentience came a mystical connection to a divine realm: The Land of Stars, The Kingdom of Heaven, the All-Clan. This mystical space beyond spaces is a paradise given to cats who have died. Cats residing in the Land of Stars meld together, surrendering their individuality to become a single heavenly entity. This spirit of Stars can reach down to provide visions, information, and instructions to those cats still alive. It also judges those who die, choosing whether to condemn the dead to eternal isolation or incorporation into the Heavenly Host.
The majority of cats live and act much as they once did- in forests and wild lands, hunting pests. Without hands, cats have lacked access to technology; without human vocal cords, they lack access to language. Humans can learn to speak rudimentary cat, but it is extremely difficult. And so cats live on the fringes of the world, watching silently.
Some places are different. Cats born to a Kobold parent, for example, can speak as if human or dryad- giving them rudimentary access to humanoid societies. In Desmia and Sonev, Cats have even stronger access to humanoid life: Depending on the phase of the moon, cats have a chance of being born Humanoid in those places. These humanoid cats have vocal cords that can speak humanoid languages, paws that can articulate advanced tools, and muscular structure that can allow them to comfortably walk bipedally if they choose.
There is also a bio-cultural divide: the The Masked One gave a subgroup of cats unique blessings, transforming them into Jellicles. These Jellicles have uniquely bardic leanings and blessings, with their own unique layer of the Heavenly Host to themselves.
As Player Characters, Bipedal Cats have the following statistics:

• Small size
• Proficient in Stealth, can occupy the same space as another entity
• Has a 1d4 + Dexterity natural attack

• Proficient in Performance, can occupy the same space as another entity
• Has a 1d4 + Dexterity natural attack
