Rheyja, Goddess Of Inevitable Change (Ray-Ah)

Rheyja is the Goddess Of Inevitable Change, Mother Of Halflings, Warden Of Time's End, and Mistress of Fate. She is the twin of Rhodas, God Of Insanity And Struggle, and daughter of Vihrus, God Of Stars And Night. As her titles suggest, she is the only deity that can see the End Of All Things, and knows when it will come. She has seen that since her birth, and knows, unlike her brother, that destiny cannot be changed.   Rheyja is viewed by many as a neutrally aligned Goddess. She cares not what change will come, only that it does, and she knows above all that in the end, it matters not, as the End Of All Things will change everything. She and her followers often clash with her Brother Rhodas and his followers, and they represent the age old struggle of fighting against one's destiny.   In religious depictions, Rheyja is most often shown as appearing close to a halfling, with long blonde hair, and blue/black eyes that reflect the voids of Time and Fate. In such artworks, she is often shown wearing her crown, the many pointed Destiny Circlet. In reality, any who have chanced to have a meeting with Rheyja report seeing her as an almost amorphous form, switching often between species, animals, and even forms beyond description or comprehension.

Divine Domains

Rheyja is worshipped as a Goddess of Change, Time, and Fate. She is also viewed as the Patron Goddess of the Haedrian Halfling people.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

According to her followers, Rheyja exists to shepherd the world towards the End Of All Things, the ultimate and most inevitable change. Outside of this, she is said to show interest in guiding mortals down the path set out before them, showing them that fighting against change and inevitability is futile.
