Three Moons Council

Overview

The Three Moons Council was the meeting held between the generals of the Amer military and the The Council of the Final Hunt during the War of Unification . The meeting was held to try and find a peaceful solution before any significant blood was shed on either side. Amersham's powerful military and recent alliance with the Orcish tribes ensured that if Sherpburg was to oppose the nation, they would eventually fall. However, Amersham did not want to spend the time and resources to pursue an unnecessary military conflict when peace was an option, especially as they held deep respect for the guilds and their way of life. As such, a diplomatic settlement was presented and discussed. The conference got it's name from the three hunting cycles that came and went during the meeting.

There was some difficulty getting the various guild heads together to discuss the treaty. It took even longer for them to discuss it with the elven clans so far as it affected them. Eventually, during a meeting of the Council of the Final Hunt, the various guild masters agreed to the terms of the alliance. After presenting it to the representatives of Amersham, the treaty was signed and ratified. This made Sherpburg the fourth nation to join the Unified Provinces of Grouce.

The treaty was as follows:

Terms

    1. will acknowledge Grouce as it's ruling body
    2. will pay taxes to Grouce
