He documented the The cataclysm in his Ancient Journal found in Annarius, and died shortly afterwards in an accident involving a teleportation gate.
On 7 Nénimë, 2412 the Immortal Emperor Gallus Everglow made a confidential proclamation that was found among Letters in Engineering Dean's Office in Ruins of Thanedell. This proclamation predated the cataclysm and implicated Arryn in the development of some sort of "weapon to oppose the Radiance" as well as linked to him dissident activities that carried a harsh penalty.
