Corruption and Metaphysical Infection

Harbinger Corruption:

When The Harbingers invaded Alathor, they corrupted the planet’s metaphysical fabric with a seed of their own energy and influence. This infection altered the natural flow of Life Force and become known as the Soulforce. With the Harbingers driven away, however, they were unable to fulfill their plan that would have allowed them to control and command those creatures that would become infused with the Soulforce. Instead, it resulted in the world of Alathor naturally giving rise to destructive entities like The Prime, who embody this metaphysical disruption, but who would later become magically and genetically manipulated over centuries by the Stewards in attempt to repress the corrupting and destructive aspects of the Soulforce. These would become the four primary races of peoples found in Alathor: the Maia, the Nakhasi, the Grizzla, and the Pukta.

The Prime’s Prism Effect:

The Prime, created from the matter of Alathor and tainted by Harbinger corruption, possess a unique metaphysical property: they act as prisms for Life Force. Their ability to break down the Giver’s essence into individual elements and manipulate the world around them is a direct result of this corruption. This suggests that the metaphysical laws governing life and magic are deeply intertwined with the cosmic forces of corruption and creation.
