Overview
General History
Created by the Steward Huichi, the Nakhasi emerged from disciplined and intelligent tribes among the Prime. Renowned for their refined strength and agile grace, the Nakhasi established one of Alathor’s most influential empires, marked by periods of grandeur and internal conflict. Their language, culture, philosophies, spread into all corners of the known world and became foundational, if not influential, aspects of all others - as an example, the language known as "common" is primarily old Nakhasi. Following the collapse of their empire and outside of its last vestige, the League of Kyokuri, they embraced warmer bronze and gold hues symbolizing progress and a deliberate distancing from the past nobility’s silver and blue tones. They remain widespread, still the most populous race to inhabit Alathor and with many of the sub-races or ethnicities claiming at least some Nakhasi heritage, and they remain culturally prominent, respected as warriors, scholars, artisans, and leaders across Alathor. CharacteristicsThe Nakhasi exude a graceful intensity, characterized by lean, athletic builds and an aura of refined power. Their sharp, aristocratic features reflect their disciplined and structured nature, and their movements convey precise agility. Highly intelligent and strategically minded, they excel in structured environments requiring careful planning and nuanced diplomacy.Cultural Traits
Nakhasi culture values discipline, order, intellectual pursuit, and refined artistry. They frequently adorn themselves with intricate metallic tribal markings, indicating social status, historical affiliations, or personal achievements. Their society maintains subtle cultural distinctions based on skin tones, reminiscent of historical class structures, though contemporary Nakhasi emphasize unity and progress.Roles in Alathor

The Nakhasi carry themselves with regal bearing, their tall, lean frames displaying refined musculature indicative of their disciplined nature. Skin tones vary between two distinct cultural groups: the Old Nakhasi, whose pale, icy blue or silver-gray skin evokes ancient nobility, and the now culturally dominant New Nakhasi, with warmer bronze, copper, or golden hues symbolizing progress and unity. Both groups adorn themselves with intricate metallic tribal markings across their bodies, reflective of their social standing and personal history. Sharp, aristocratic facial features complement vividly colored, piercing eyes in hues of gold, amber, or jewel tones, suggesting a predatory intensity. Silky, dark hair—ranging from deep black and rich brown to metallic shades like bronze and silver—frames their refined yet commanding presence.
