Dhampir

Hybrid creatures between Fae and Humanoids, creatures blended by the Fae of the Kindred, they more trusted than the Skinwalkers and lesser species that work and slave for the Kindred Fae across their home isle in the Shadowfell on the Noctural Sea. The Dhampir are the guards, wardens, warriors, spies and hunters for the Fae. Their dietary needs are the common requirements of original species, but on top of that, they need to feed on something less natural depending on blending that happened, sometimes that the classic blood, other form of energy or something more strange.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Visually almost indistinguishable from the race that those blended with fae creatures to create the creatures that are better than their original form, other than being somewhat pale skin and strange colour hues to their eyes, reds, purples, oranges and either yellows aren't uncommon within the Dhampir. While they hearts do beat but a lot slower than the average of their original race, around about a third of the speed of the normal.

Genetics and Reproduction

Dhampires rarely have childern, many believe they infertile, but in fact this not choose, and due to the blending with the fae and the long lives, its more difficult for them to reproduce but not impossible. Any childen of Dhampir have the chance to take their Dhampir natural, but can also be born just normal of their species.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They feed on on normal foods just like they natural ancenstors, but they also get the thirst and the need for something else, most often blood, but Life Energy, Dreams and Fears are all possible as well. Each Dhampir is unique in their making and due to that they needs are also unique.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

A Dhampir can see in the darkness almost as well as most can in the light but without colour and sees the world in grayscales in the dark, and pick out details in the light that most people would miss, and prenatural awareness of their surroundings, its difficult to sneak up on a Dhampir either relaxing they will often notice small changes in surroundings the slightiest of movements or the slight change in odour.
