Southern Stretches
The Southern Stretches — known locally as Jugore — is a large region of Syvat covering the majority of its central west coast, down to its southern cape. This region measures from approximately 50° north to 15° north. Despite it being a large region north-to-south, Jugore is relatively thin, with large stretches dominated by hills and dense mountain ranges. Northern and central Jugore, west of the Redriver Gap, is heavily populated, and serves as a breadbasket for the Vekhen Empire and surrounding regions. However, southern Jugore — known as Çatall — is relatively sparse, with only a handful of larger communities mostly focused on mining and trade.
