House Armăsar
House Armăsar was an Aomeni Noble House, and the ruling House of the Barony of Armăsar. The House is believed to be extinct, having died out in a mysterious raid and fire upon their principal holding, Castle Armăsar. Before their extinction, House Armăsar was subservient to House Albescu of the Duchy of Gol-Kasha, of which it was a cadet branch.
House Armăsar was founded by Baroness Constansa I Armăsar, who was allowed to form a cadet branch by her father, Duke Sorin V Albescu. The House was founded as a safebuard against the then recently-declared republican chartered town of Zhilisky, to ensure peace within the duchy. Previous attempts to form a peace with the belligerant town — namely, the marriage of one of its chief merchant lords, Iuliana Armăsar to the Duke had failed to quell unrest, and it was hoped that the construction of a new castle and the landing of some of its own would succeed where they had failed. Ultimately, the town forced a treaty via a free charter, and House Armăsar became a buffer.
