The Riverlands
This area is dominated by the river system that forms the Eteron river, forming a sloping valley on either side. The river is fed from the mountain range just east of Tentria all the way to its mouth at Hytodes. Another river flows from just south of The Wedge, which gets its name from the Eteron river and this river running near each other to form a wedge. Lake Hedron is also in this region fed by the nearby Ner-Bal range around the city of Long Lake and flowing towards the sea of Merator. The Harlon wood also is fed by the rivers in this system, and is one of the major landmarks of the area. The northern reaches are quite cold, but can see mild summers.
Geography
The Tentria Range is home to the tallest mountain in Eteros, Mt. Tempitis. This range provides the freshwater for Lake Rothan, as well as the Eteron River. The Eteron rivers flows down from this range through a shallow valley which creates the Harlon Wood, which is also fed by a tributary of the Eteron river created by a hill country to the north of the river.
The river creates a long strip of fertile land along its valley that has led to the creation of many small farming villages. Larges towns like The Wedge and cities like Hytodes and Harlon also exist due to the river. Tempitis is seen as a major god in this area as he is seen in this region as the god of the river. Lake Hedron is an ancient remnant of when this river flowed all the way across the continent, but was cut at some point by seismic activity that altered its course. This has created two smaller rivers fed by drainage basins that see relatively high rainfall, and feed Gold Harbor and Long Lake. Outside of the river the land is mostly grassland. To the north, highlands create low grasslands and, in the farthest reaches, tundra. The areas to the south of Lake Hedron, and south of the Green Hills are known as Eteron Plains and are a large agricultural area which receive enough rain to sustain them without a large river system. The city of Gold Reach was founded in the middle of these plains.

Fauna & Flora
The region around Hytodes, and the aptly named Seahawks Reach, are known for the large populations of Sea Hawks that inhabit their shores. The waters around the north are also home to large amounts Todean Blade. Bark Owls and Archar inhabit the Harlon wood. short haired Valar also inhabit the Eteron Plains. The famous Desert Firestar flower grows just to the east of Harlon in the Harlon wood. Herbs also grow in the marshes of Backbay Village that are found nowhere else in the world. The hills around lake Hedron are also home to a variety of wine the is famous within the region.
Natural Resources
The major industry in this region is agriculture and fishing, but the trade that is run out of Gold Harbor is the major source of wealth. Gold has also been found in the hilly regions around Hedron and The Wedge, caused by the plume that caused the uplift of the crust that heated deeper elements and brought them to veins in the surface. Timber is also shipped down the Eteron river, where it is transferred to separate barges at The Wedge to be sent to Gold Harbor or Hytodes.
