I've said the words 'heavy metal' a few times already but in essentia yes that very classic 80's heavy metal that was all wizards and lightning and dragons and shit-- specifically Dio is a huge musical inspiration, as well as a few other metal bands like Kamelot (that's a big one) Apocalypse Orchestra, Wind Rose, and Kittie's album Fire, and folk metal bands like Eluveitie. Here's the big ginormous spotify playlist I have for this world, some of the songs are specifically relevant but a bunch I just have for the vibes to listen to while writing.
