Turnip Deepwater is the Guildmaster for the Oggaruk Bookmaker's Guild. While many consider him a grumpy curmudgeon, his apprentice, Snivel, thinks of him as a father figure and champion of the written word. Turnip mostly thinks everyone around him is an idiot and trying to get one over on him. This isn't entirely untrue, as most of the Oggaruk Crafter's Guild is indeed trying to get one over on the old goblin.
Turnip is very proud that he left the Craftsman Guild and started the Bookmaker's Guild, even if it is only him and a kobold girl running the place. He has done great things before and he plans on doing great things again. Just right after he reads this book and has a nice cup of tea...
