VastBlaster

The VastBlaster is the vessel of the Vastblasters.

The History of the VastBlaster

Previously named Brookseed & Oil, the VastBlaster came into the Blaster's possession in a state of utter disrepair. It is unclear as to how the vessel was utilized by its previous owners, but piracy seems a likely bet. The Blasters, along with Maltina Bigmoon, "liberated" the ship from its maltreatment and made for Bleak Gardens for some very necessary repairs. The shipwright, Rhalyf, agreed to do the repairs in return for a favor.   Fully repaired, the VastBlaster and its crew (hereafter Vastblasters) entered Otuna's Favor and set about the business of re-assembling Instrument and saving the Drembari Isles from whatever is bubbling under the surface of The Vast.

Ship Upgrades

  • Scheming Sails: Devotees of Hottim charmed spiders to weave these sails, and, as such, arachnids are often seen crawling along the sails, and occasionally falling on crew members. These spiders work constantly to rebuild the webs that form these sails and keep them strong. If the sails have at least 1 hit point, they regain 5 hit points every minute.
  • Kogos Figurehead: This figurehead depicts a stout hairy man with wild black hair and blazing orange eyes.. As an action, the ship can activate this item to create a 60-foot cone that originates from the figurehead. Each creature in the cone must make DC 12 Constitution saving throw, taking 4d6 thunder damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. A creature that fails its saving throw is also pushed 10 feet away from the figurehead. Once a ship uses this action, it can’t use it again for 1 minute.
