The Ceaseless Drift

The Ceaseless Drift is the name applied to a set of circumstances, of which the origin is both unknown and potent. Pink crystalline dunes dot an otherwise mostly empty landscape that seems to shift constantly. Crystal monoliths form and crumble. Crystal cities become ruins in an instant, if they were there at all.
It is a place beyond danger, as even entities thought to be immortal are thought to have expired somewhere in the Ceaseless. 
There are some that believe The Ceaseless Drift to be environment from which all energy in the world flows, but this is mere conjecture, as all knowledge of The Ceaseless Drift is derived from secondary sources and often mixed with mythology and legend.

The Ceaseless Drift contains an unknowable power. Something beyond the capacities for language. Something steeped in Void and Echo
