Vostok Forest
The Vostok forest is the largest forest on Gaulren, even larger than The Sanctuary. The Vostok forest is full of a number of horrors such as the remaining orc tribes, undead lead by necromancers or liches, and a vast array of violent creatures. A large portion of the Vostok Forest is controlled by Albion, but the majority of it is untamed wilderness even the areas 'controlled' by Albion. There are two major cities in the Vostok forest, Emona which is the deepest town in the Vostock forest and is considered to be the most dangerous city in terms of external threats in the Republic, and Lorring which hugs the glittering mountains and is the town connected to the Dwarven Holds.
The Vostok Forest actually has a smaller logging industry than the Garot forest due to the outer edge of the Garot forest being relatively safe whereas even the controlled areas of the Vostok forest has creatures and orcs ready to kill unwary loggers. The Vostok forest provides a natural barrier between the Daqin Dynasty and The Republic of Solden and Vernica forcing most conflicts along the coast.
The Vostok forest contains most plants and animals that can be found in coniferous forest as well as a large number of dire creatures the deeper into the forest one travels. The area is also known for its population of Hippogriffs, the sign of royalty among the Albion households.
Through the Vostok forest flows a major river that splits in two. The main river starting at the Glittering Mountains is the River Limmek that flows all the way from the Glittering Mountains to the fair sea. The River Sorn splits from the River Limmek and flow south past the city of Albion to the Raging Sea.
