Ir-Sjún
Galkan: Ir-Sjún /ɪːɹ ʃuːn/
Ynamok: Ixún /ɪksuːn/
Ir-Sjún is one of the major kingdoms of the Galkans of Vagalkan, located along the upper Jahó River in the eastern part of the region. Its capital of Kavas is located by the river's eastern bank, and the current monarch is the aged Af-Heve, who has ruled the country for sixty-six years.
The country has long had strong ties with the Namki living in the Deþren Mountains to the south, more so than most galkan states, due to the relatively short distance to the latter's territory, making it an important trading hub for goods from Namk on one hand and Ænadó in particular on the other. Jatrilnúxan traders from southwestern Laxilþía across the sea to the north often visited the country in ancient times, before the Rexans conquered their lands, as did the Enans to some extent prior to joining the empire of Dalra.
The latter two once had their own neighbourhoods within Kavas, as do the Ænateans and namki today.Religion
The patron deity of Ir-Sjún is the divine cheetah Kehavó, god of thunderstorms, smithing and water, who is worshipped by the locals as part of a divine trinity along with the fertility goddess Peva-Sja and their son Eheve.
