Fauna & Flora
Aside from wildlife such as deer, roe deer, turtles, foxes and lynxes, the most common animals on the Berop Plain are domesticated ones, especially pigs and quails. Many species of fish, waterfowl and other birds as well as amphibians live in or near the Orp River.
Millet, water oats and various vegetables are commonly grown in the region, with grass and shrubs growing elsewhere along with scattered copses of small trees. A few large trees are also found in certain cities, too sacred to be cut down, where gatherings are all sorts are held.
