Tæf

One of Sæga Hrafnárí's twin Runesmithed swords (the other being Fjöðí), made for her by the master smith Kífn near the beginning of her adventures. Its name means "swift" in the Wylden language Tallað, a reference to its extremely light weight and superb agility.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Tæf and its twin Fjöðí are both Runesmithed with Godsrunes, making their magic particularly potent and everlasting. They are both extremely light and agile, as well as unbreakable. They never require sharpening, and cut through wood and flesh with equal ease (an enhancement particularly useful for fighting Fájunn, something for which Sæga would have been especially grateful).

Manufacturing process

Bladesmithing, Runesmithing
